SEO & Mobile Site Performance

North Hennepin Community College wanted to bring their new brand to life with a website that would attract new users and increase applications. They struggled to retain engagement on mobile and track the effectiveness of the website. SEO was outsourced to another firm and the team noted okay, but not outstanding, results.

Our mission was to create a new website that would launch the new brand and feature design elements and messaging designed to increase conversions.

OUR APPROACH

Improved User Experience & Emphasis on Search Engine Optimization

iFactory built a mobile-first experience that reflected the school’s new brand standards, while making it simple and straightforward for prospective students to apply. To increase organic search traffic, we conducted robust keyword research on the 40+ pages of UX copywriting we completed before launch. 
 
Post-launch, we engaged in a 12-month SEO campaign, identifying keywords for 80+ programs and crafting an SEO content template for all program pages. North Hennepin renewed this contract after one year and we are still partners today.
